SECOND VICE PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

To: All T.W.U Local 513, Brothers and Sisters.

I have been in office now for over three months and I am pleased to say things are going well. I am learning new things every day. Our 1st V.P. Tony Noviello has been instrumental in bringing me up to speed on arbitration. I have assisted in preparing for several cases along with sitting on the Board for the grievant. I am excited about presenting my first case when I return from arbitration training. I can only hope that you all know that the Officers in Local 513 are working diligently to provide you with the representation that you deserve.

We all know that we are in negotiations with management over a well deserved contract that will benefit us and our families. It is unfortunate that management does not always agree with us when we let them know our position, but I am confident we have selected the right person to represent us all in negotiations, that being Darrin Pierce. That being said, when doing our jobs we should all be following the rules put in place by management to ensure the job gets done the safest and in the most time efficient manner.

In conclusion, it is with great pride that I serve you and serve with, this executive board.
